| 1 | صارمًا وَصَّلَ الْغَوَانِي | Sârimane wassal al-ghawânî | Turn away from associating with frivolous women. |
| 2 | وَاحْتَظِ زِيكْرَ الْأَهَانِي | Wahta zil zîkral ahânî | And take refuge in the songs of Aghani. |
| 3 | وَارْمِ بِالْبِيدِ لِلْحِسَانِي | Warmi bil bîdi lil hissânî | And aspire to the pure blessings. |
| 4 | وَاسْلُلِ الْمَحْتُومَ دَيَّانِي | Wasslul mahtûma dinânî | And attract the sealed decree, O my Judge. |
| 5 | وَالْمَلَاهِي وَالْمَخَانِي | Wal malâhî wal makhânî | And the amusements and places of pleasure. |
| 6 | مِنْ كِرَانِينِ أَوْ مَبَانِي | Mine kirânîne aw mabânî | From taverns or edifices. |
| 7 | كُلُّ ذِي وَيْكَ سَرَابُ | Kulla zî wayka sarâbû | All of that is but a mirage. |
| 8 | وَابْخِ رُوحَانِي لِلْمَعَانِي | Wabkhi rûhâne lil mahânî | And aspire with my spirit to the meanings. |
| 9 | عَيْنُ هَاءٍ إِنَّهُ حَقًّا حَقَّانِي | Aynu hâ ine haqqa haqqane | The Essence of Ha (the letter), it is truly the truth. |
| 10 | تَالِيَانَ سَبْعِ الْمَثَانِي | Tâliyane sabhal massânî | Reciting the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses (Al-Fatiha). |
| 11 | بِصِفَاتِ الذَّاتِ حَقًّا | Bi sifâtî zâti haqqane | By the attributes of the Divine Essence, truly. |
| 12 | رُتْبَةٌ لَيْسَ لَهَا ثَانِي | Rutbatane layssa li sâni | A rank that has no equal. |
| 13 | فَهُوَ مُخْتَارُ الْبَرَايَا | Fa huwa Mukhtârul barâyâ | He is the Chosen One of creation. |
| 14 | قَبْلَ تَكْوِينِ الْكِيَانِ | Qabla takwînil kiyâni | Before the formation of beings. |
| 15 | بَرَزَتْ حَضْرَةُ طَهَ | Barazate hadratû Tâhâ | The Presence of Taha (Prophet Muhammad) appeared. |
| 16 | قَبْلَ تَكْوِينِ الْمَكَانِ | Qabla takwînil makânî | Before the creation of places. |
| 17 | وَلَهُ أَمْرٌ طَوِيلٌ | Wa lahu amrune tawîlune | And he has a long-lasting affair (status). |
| 18 | قَبْلَ تَقْدِيرِ الزَّمَانِ | Qabla taqdîril zamâni | Before the decree of time. |
| 19 | إِنَّنِي قَبْلَ الْبَرَايَا | Inanî qablal barâyâ | I was there before the creation. |
| 20 | حُبُّهُ شُغْلُ الْجَنَانِ | Hubuhû chûqlul janânî | His love is the occupation of my heart. |
| 21 | فَهُوَ أَكْلِي وَشَرَابِي | Fa huwa aklî wa charâbî | He is my food and my drink. |
| 22 | وَهُوَ دِينِي وَجِنَانِي | Wahwa dînî wa jinânî | And he is my religion and my paradise. |
| 23 | وَهُوَ أُنْسِي وَهُوَ كَنْزِي | Wahwa unssî wahwa kanzî | He is my companion and he is my treasure. |
| 24 | وَأَمِينِي وَأَمَانِي | Wa amînî wa amânî | And my confidant and my security. |
| 25 | وَرَفِيقِي وَطَرِيقِي | Wa rafîqî wa tarîqî | And my companion and my path. |
| 26 | وَجَوَادِي وَسِنَانِي | Wa jawâdî wa sinânî | And my generosity and my spear. |
| 27 | وَرُبُوحِي وَخُسُورِي | Wa rubûhî wa khussûrî | And my profits and my losses. |
| 28 | وَهُوَ خَيْرَاتِ الْحِسَانِ | Wahwa khayrâtil hissânî | And he is the pure blessings. |
| 29 | وَهُوَ بَيْحِي وَشَرَائِي | Wahwa bay hî wa charâ î | And he is my selling and my buying. |
| 30 | وَهُوَ عَرْسِي وَجِنَانِي | Wahwa arssî wa jinânî | And he is my wedding and my paradise. |
| 31 | لَيْسَ لِي خَيْرُ الْمُقَفَّى | Layssa li khayrul muqafâ | I have none better than Al-Muqaffa (Prophet Muhammad). |
| 32 | وَلِذَا تَامَ جَنَانِي | Wa lizâ tâma janâni | And for that, my heart is perfect. |
| 33 | لَا تَرَى ذِكْرَ سِوَاهُ | Lâ tarâ zikra siwâhû | You will not see the remembrance of anyone else. |
| 34 | فِي فُؤَادِي وَلِسَانِي | Fî fuâdî wa lissânî | In my heart and on my tongue. |
| 35 | إِنْ أَرَى ذِكْرَ سِوَاهُ | Ine arâ zîkra siwâhû | If I see the remembrance of anyone else. |
| 36 | خَيْرُ لَهْوٍ وَمَجَانِي | Khayra lahwine wa majânî | It is nothing but amusement and madness. |
| 37 | وَامْتِدَاحِي لِسِوَاهُ | Wamtidâhûne li siwâhû | And my praises to anyone else. |
| 38 | طَيْفُ جِنٍّ لَا أَرَانِي | Tayfu jinine lâ arânî | Are illusions of Jinn that do not reach me. |
| 39 | إِنَّنِي طُولَ حَيَاتِي | Inani tûla hayâtî | I am throughout my life. |
| 40 | رَبُّ أَمْنٍ وَأَمَانِي | Rabbu amnine wa amânî | The Lord of security and trust. |
| 41 | لِانْتِصَارِي بِالْمُفَدَّى | Lintissârî bil mufadâ | For my victory by the redeemed (Prophet Muhammad). |
| 42 | وَهُوَ عَيْنِي وَأَيَّانِي | Wahwa ayni wa ayânî | And he is my eye and my essence. |
| 43 | فَفُؤَادِي مُذَامِّي | Fa Fuâdi muzamânî | So my heart continues to love. |
| 44 | فِي جَدِيدِ الْهَيْمَانِ | Fi jadîdîl hayamânî | In a renewal of passion. |
| 45 | وَحَبِيبِي مُشَفَّانِي | Wa habîbî muchafâni | And my beloved heals me. |
| 46 | وَصَفَا لِي قَدْ مُحَانِي | Wa safâli qad mahâni | And he has purified me from what has been cast at me. |
| 47 | وَهُوَ الْعَبْدُ وَهَيْلَانِي | Wa huwal abdu wa haylane | And he is the servant and the guide. |
| 48 | رَمْزُهُ هَاءُ التَّدَانِي | Ramzuhu hâ u tadânî | His symbol is the Ha of closeness. |
| 49 | وَهُوَ عَيْنُ الِاسْمِ وَالْحَرْفِ | Wahwa aynul ismi wal harfi | And he is the essence of the name and the letter. |
| 50 | لِتَحْقِيقِ الْمَعَانِي | Li tahqîqil ma’ânî | For the realization of the meanings. |
| 51 | وَحَبِيبِي وَمُعَادِي | Wa habîbû wa muâdîne | And my beloved and my aid. |
| 52 | فِي تَقَاصِّي وَتَدَانِي | Fi taqâssîne wa tadânî | In separation and closeness. |
| 53 | وَهُوَ دَائِي وَدَوَائِي | Wahwa dâ’i wa dawâ’î | And he is my disease and my cure. |
| 54 | قَدْ بَرَانِي وَشَفَانِي | Qad barânî wa chafânî | He has cured me and healed me. |
| 55 | لَيْتَهُ الْوَحْظَ هَبَانِي | Laytahul wahta habânî | If only he would grant me the moment. |
| 56 | وَصْلُهُ ثُمَّ كَفَانِي | Wasslahul suma kafâni | His proximity would then be enough for me. |
| 57 | دَاءُ شَوْقِي كُلَّ وَهْظِينِ | Dâ u chawqi kulla wahtîne | The disease of my longing at every instant. |
| 58 | فِي شَدِيدِ الْهَيَجَانِ | Fi chadîdil hâyajâni | In intense agitation. |
| 59 | زَالَ نَفْسِي وَهَوَانِي | Zûla nafssîne wa hawânî | My self and my passion have vanished. |
| 60 | مَفْحَرِي رَوْضُ جِنَانِي | Mafhari rawdu jinânî | My pride is the garden of my heart. |
| 61 | مَا بَقَى لِي مِنْ بَقَائِي | Mâ baqâlî mine baqa î | Nothing remains for me of my existence. |
| 62 | مِنْ قَرَامِينِ وَحَنَانِي | Mine qarâmîne wa hanânî | From passion and tenderness. |
| 63 | وَزَفِيرِي وَبُكَائِي | Wa zafîri wa bukâ I | And from my sighs and tears. |
| 64 | وَأَرَانِي لَا أَرَانِي | Wa arâni lâ arâni | And you see me and you do not see me. |
| 65 | لَائِمِي فَرِّجْ سِهَالِي | Lâ imî farssa lihâlî | O you who blame me, understand my state. |
| 66 | قَدْ دَهَانِي مَا دَهَانِي | Qad dahânî mâ dahânî | What has befallen me, has befallen me. |
| 67 | كَمْ خَلِيلٍ قَدْ جَفَانِي | Kam khalîline qad jafânî | How many friends have forsaken me. |
| 68 | لِخَرَامِي وَرَمَانِي | Li kharâmî wa ramânî | For my passion and have rejected me. |
| 69 | رُبَّ سُنَيٍّ كُنْتُ أَرْجُو | Ruba sinewîne kuntu arjû | Brethren whom I hoped. |
| 70 | وَصْلَهُ ثُمَّ جَفَانِي | Wasslahu suma jafânî | To reach his nearness, and then they forsook me. |
| 71 | وَنَهَانِي وَلَهَانِي | Wa nahânî wa lahânî | And forbade me and blamed me. |
| 72 | وَشَجَانِي وَنَفَانِي | Wa chajânî wa nafânî | And saddened me and exiled me. |
| 73 | لَيْسَ لِلْيَوْمَ خَلِيلُ | Layssa lil yawma khalîlu | There is no companion for me today. |
| 74 | غَيْرُ مَا مِنْكَ أَتَانِي | Khayru mâ minka atâni | Except what comes from you (Prophet Muhammad). |
| 75 | غَيْرُ هَذَا قَدْ خَلَانِي | Khayra hâzâ qad khalânî | Other than that, they have left me alone. |
| 76 | هَازِلًا لِي كُلَّ آنِ | Hâzilane lî kulla ânî | Mocking me at every moment. |
| 77 | مَا زَكُّوا جِلْدِي جِهَارًا | Mâ zakhu jildî jihârane | They have defiled my skin openly. |
| 78 | أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْ مَكَانِي | Akhrujûnî mine makâni | They drove me out of my place. |
| 79 | دُونَ ذَنْبٍ غَيْرُ آنِي | Dûna zanbine khayra ânî | Without fault, except that. |
| 80 | حُبُّ طَهَ فِي جَنَانِي | Hubu Tâha fi janânî | The love of Taha is in my heart. |
| 81 | وَأَرَانِي لَسْتُ أَلْفُو | Wa arânî lasstu alfû | And you see that I will not find. |
| 82 | تَائِبًا مَا رَاحَ لَوَّانِي | Tâ ibane mâra lawânî | Repentant, no matter what happens to me. |
| 83 | وَأَرَى لَوْ مَا زَقُّونِي | Wa arâ law mâ zaqûni | And I see that even if they impaled me. |
| 84 | بِمَوَالِي هُنْدُوَانِي | Bi mawâli hunduwânî | With Indian javelins. |
| 85 | لَمْ يَنَالُوا مَا أَرَادُوا | Lam yanâlu mâ arâdû | They would not achieve what they wanted. |
| 86 | قَدْ مُلَا ذَا وَكَفَانِي | Qadmalâ zâ wa kafânî | This has been decreed and it is enough for me. |
| 87 | هَلِّلُونِي جِيرَتِي مِنْ | Halilûnî jîratî mine | Inebriate me, O my neighbors. |
| 88 | ذِكْرِ مَنْ يَتْلُو الْمَثَانِي | Zikri mane yatlul massânî | With the remembrance of the one who recites the Oft-Repeated Verses (Al-Fatiha). |
| 89 | رَدِّدُوا لِي ذِكْرَهُ | Radidû lî zikrahû | Repeat for me his remembrance. |
| 90 | حِينَ صَفَا لِي وَهَمَانِي | Hîna safâli wa hamânî | When he purified me and gave me. |
| 91 | وَكَفَانِي طَهَ هِبَانَ | Wa kafâni Tâha hibane | Taha alone is enough for me as a gift. |
| 92 | لَسْتُ أَدْرِي مَنْ خَلَانِي | Lasstu adri mane khalâni | I do not know who created me. |
| 93 | لَسْتُ أَخْشَى كَيْدَ أَعْدَائِ | Lasstu ahchâ kayda ahdâ… | I do not fear the cunning of enemies… |
| 94 | إِنِي وَلَا جَوْرَ زَمَانِي | ine wa lâ jawra zamânî | Nor the injustice of time. |
| 95 | فَمَكَانِي فِي زَمَانِي | Fa makânî fi zamânî | My place is in my time. |
| 96 | وَزَمَانِي فِي مَكَانِي | Wa zamânî fi makânî | And my time is in my place. |
| 97 | وَصَلَاةٌ وَسَلَامٌ | Wa salâtune wa salâmune | And prayer and peace. |
| 98 | فِي تَصَارِيفِ لَوَانِي | Fi tassârifi lawâni | In the shifts of colors. |
| 99 | مِنْ ذَوَاتِ ذَاتِي تَرَى | Mine zawâti zâti tatrâ | From the essences of my essence. |
| 100 | نَحْوَ طَهَ مَا كَفَانِي | Nahwa TâHâ mâ kafânî | Towards Taha, it is not enough for me. |
| 101 | ثُمَّ آلِهِ وَصِحَابِهِ | Suma âline wa sihâbîne | Then to his family and his companions. |
| 102 | صَارِمُوا وَصِّلُ الْغَوَانِي | Sâramû wasslal khawânî | Turn away, O you who sever, from associating with frivolous women. |
